Chandeliers, pendants, standing lamps or floor lighting are often a result of collaboration with interior designers, architects or individual clients.
Being energy friendly as an adjunct to providing artistic sculptural lighting is a primary objective. We use LED bulbs throughout & our pieces travel all over the world.

'Ukuta' - wall in Swahili.
Murals are one of the signatures of Kitengela Glass - a flat sculptural extravaganza; with attached pieces of blown or casted glass, augmented with different painting techniques, wallpaper, inlays, wood, metal & lighting - all of which make for a riot of brightness, colour and texture.

Our bar and beverages collection.
Vinywaji means "drinks" in Swahili. Things to keep drinks in - and things to drink them out of.
The first objects we ever made were wine glasses. The toughness of the recycled window glass gives our products quite some lifespan.
Most of the products on this site are drinking vessels of one kind or another. Stay hydrated...

A collaboration with Dumont.
Hand-crafted from locally sourced recycled materials, ‘Waya’, (Swahili for ‘wire’), is a social impact program by Dumont to support an artisanal community of skilled Kenyan craftsmen. The basis of this initiative is to provide these artists with an avenue to showcase their talents and a means to better their lives by being compensated appropriately in an otherwise marginalised industry.
Each model is hand-made by an attentive artisan who has (over a long period of time) mastered and perfected the creation of that product only. The pieces - that take hours to produce - are then exclusively powder-coated in an array of vibrant colours.
Proceeds from this program are contributing towards the building of a vocational training centre.
